On Thursday 15 November 2018 we will be deploying a change to our API authentication whereby the validity of a users authentication token will be checked for each API call.
This will require integrators to intercept 401 errors on all API calls and redirect accordingly to re-authenticate the user. If you need further information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
For users this will mean under certain circumstances (e.g. you change your password) you will have to re-login to third-party integrations (this include the MyDesktop Contacts app and Homepass). If the integrator does not correctly handle this situation, you might receive an error message. In this event, please contact the support team for the specific integration.
